Hi! I’m Tami, a Functional and Integrative Nurse practitioner that uses food, lifestyle changes, peptides, and bio-identical hormones, to help you thrive!
My world turned upside down when I contracted Lyme disease and was exposed to biotoxin illness/mold in a water damaged building. I was bedridden and was literally dying. I dug in and fought for answers that my medical community couldn’t give me. I felt betrayed, unheard, and not valued. I felt as if I was failed and left without answers. Not only was I sick, but I have 2 sons with autoimmune disorders -Asthma and Crohn’s disease. We were all miserable and I had to find lasting answers. I was able to heal me and put their autoimmune diseases in remission with food and functional medicine principles. I began my journey with functional medicine, nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, and genomics/nutrigenomics to heal us. I promised God I would never stop learning and helping others!
When I’m not geeking out with genetics and functional medicine stuff, I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes, gardening, traveling, and spending time with our 6 children, their spouses, and our 8 grandkiddos. They are the light of my life!
